Love the finer things in life? We got you! We have a splendid on-site opportunity for an experienced Mid-Senior Marketing Manager to handle the various, exciting hospitality and events portfolios at a stunning wine estate in Stellenbosch.
 
This is an exceptional role for a solid marketing professional with extensive luxury brand experience to elevate one of the Cape Winelands’ premier estates. As the Marketing Manager, you’ll create and implement innovative marketing strategies to showcase the estate’s unique offerings across multiple touchpoints: from the hotel and world-class wine to gourmet food and beverage, yachts, weddings, golf, spa, padel, and even an interactive edutainment centre.
 
We’re looking for someone with extensive luxury brand experience, and a strong network in luxury travel. Tourism and hospitality experience would be a bonus.
As Marketing Manager, you’ll market exclusive events and unforgettable guest experiences that capture the elegance and allure of this destination, attracting high-end clientele. Working closely with the Commercial Director and a talented creative team, you’ll ensure all brand communications embody the estate’s prestigious identity. The focus of the fabulous role is on strategy, brand management, and driving results across all luxury touchpoints.

Responsibilities
 
    • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the hotel and wine estates’ overall business objectives to increase market share and brand visibility.
    • Brand Management: Uphold and enhance the hotel and wine estates’ brand identity through all marketing channels, ensuring a consistent luxury experience in all communications.
    • Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, videos, and promotional content.
    • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and guest preferences to inform marketing strategies.
    • Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including travel agencies, influencers, and local businesses to create co-marketing opportunities.
    • Event Promotion: Plan and promote hotel and wine estates’ events, packages, and special promotions to attract new guests and enhance guest loyalty.
    • Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using KPIs, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve objectives.
    • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximise ROI.
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the luxury hospitality sector.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creative thinker with a passion for luxury travel and hospitality.
    • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing platforms, Monday.com).
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Strong network within the luxury travel industry.
    • Organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Negotiation skills when looking for the best price from suppliers and contractors.
    • Time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the. efficient running of an event.
