Workshop Manager

Our client, a leading company in the automotive industry committed to excellence in manufacturing and production, is seeking an experienced workshop/service manager to oversee and optimise their production operations in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga.

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum of three years of management experience in a dealership setting
• Motor mechanic trade test certificate
• Senior certificate (Grade 12)
• Computer literate (Office Suite)
• Driver’s licence

Advantageous requirements:

• Management diploma
• Managerial experience within the motor dealership industry
• Effective understanding of financial budgeting principles
• Effective understanding of electrical technology
• Effective understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (1993)
• Effective understanding of the Consumer Protection Act and the Protection of Personal Information Act

Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop, and motivate staff
• Supervise service department staff members
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and the customer service index
• Manage costs and increase the profitability of the service and department
