Top print/packaging manufacturing company is looking for an internal operations assistant to join the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (among other duties):
- Assisting the operations manager when required (calls, meeting minutes)
- Assisting internal account manager (taking calls and dealing with queries, capturing and submitting finished goods, ensuring quantities and prices are correct on the ERP system)
- Processing customer information (placing restock orders, monitoring delivery dates, debtors reconciliation, visiting suppliers, assisting with estimating)
- Preparing month-end reports, preparing sales reports, maintaining customer database, and managing general queries
Requirements
- Matric
- Tertiary qualification
- Minimum three to five years’ experience in an internal sales function within the manufacturing sector (ideally print/packaging)
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Experience working with an ERP system
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to create reports and tables
