ETL Developer

A registered financial service provider known for a culture of innovation and pushing boundaries with technology is seeking a dynamic ETL developer. If you’re skilled in data collection, analysis, and reporting, and you can drive business strategies through impactful data insights, this role may be perfect for you.

Responsibilities

• Define and capture metadata and rules for ETL and ELT processes
• Analyse, develop, and test specialised data and analytical “recipes”
• Collaborate with clients to identify data systems and requirements
• Perform support activities on client services
• Develop, maintain, and enhance data tools and analytical services
• Design and develop data models for analytics, reporting, and data mining
• Create reports, dashboards, and analytical views from complex datasets
• Troubleshoot issues, automate tasks and optimise for performance

Technologies and skills required

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, sciences, informatics, applied mathematics, or statistics
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts
• Minimum of five years of experience as an SQL developer or similar role
• Proficiency in SQL, SSIS, and SSAS (cubes)
• Proficient in standard business software, especially MS Office
• Knowledge of Power BI, AWS or Azure Data, and Python
