Our client seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experinced Rearch and Development Chemist with solid expereince in conducting chemical testing for RM, PM & FG across a number of  product categories (cosmetic/personal care, health & food). To perform prototype testing & trend analysis  as well as conduct all safety & efficacy trials. Conduct regular spot checks/audits on various vendor sites with a good understanding of ISO QMS & GMP. Ensure full technical documentation/dossier/PIF/COAs/Analysis reports are created, organized & easily traceable. Work with external labs when necessary to conduct additional product testing and to provide technical support to all relevant stakeholders within the organization.

Must have Matric/Grade 12 with a BSc Degree/Diploma in Chemistry (Material/Polymer Science). A Packaging Diploma will be an advantage.
