Role overview
As an intermediate web developer, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our web applications. Working closely with designers and backend developers, you’ll build responsive, user-centric interfaces using Vue.js and React.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain: Build and enhance web applications using React.js and Vue 2
- Collaborate: Work with designers and backend developers to create seamless, cohesive user experiences
- Optimise: Ensure performance across multiple devices and browsers
- Code reviews: Engage in constructive code reviews to refine code quality
- Document and improve: Help create best practices and documentation for frontend development
What you bring to the table
- Experience: Two to five years in web development
- Technical skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and strong understanding of Vue.js and React
- Modern development: Familiar with TypeScript, ECMAScript, and RESTful APIs
- Version control: Knowledge of Git
- Attention to detail: Keen eye for user experience and design
Bonus skills (nice-to-haves)
- State management: Familiarity with Vuex, Redux, or similar
- Design tools: Experience with Figma or Adobe XD
- Build and CI: Knowledge of build tools and continuous integration
- Backend exposure: Some experience with server-side frameworks or backend development
- Framework expertise: Familiarity with Nuxt or Next.js
