Our national client seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Project/Catering Manager based at a private girls’ school in Johannesburg. Must have Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification, be proficient in Excel, and have at least 5 years’ experience working in a school or similar environment.
Adapt menus to suit a variety of cultures and dietary requirements, compile menus and costings, lead a team and also become involved in food prep and functions. Must have the ability to design and implement a menu cycle, with an excellent understanding of Health and Safety procedures pertaining to a kitchen. Direct experience in stock ordering and stock control is essential.
