POSITION
Operational Accountant
LOCATION
Swellendam – Western Cape
SALARY
R30 000 + Pension (CTC)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular reporting and follow-up of financial health checks across the business
- Provide hands-on assistance to internal departments in order to resolve any queries
- Direct involvement in stock take variance reporting and investigations / non- compliance monitoring
- Highlighting of stock damage / anomalies to relevant parties
- Assist with month end and year end closings
- Assist with the annual audit as well as the BEE audit process
- Fixed Asset commissioning, CAPEX reporting against budget Routine monthly reporting as well as ad-hoc reporting requests
- Primary contact for collation of insurance related support and submitting of claims
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Relevant completed degree
- SAP Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ post qualification work experience in general accounting
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
- Computer literacy
