Internal Control Superintendent

Hire Resolve’s Client, a reputable mining company in Gauteng, is currently looking for an experienced Internal Control Superintendent to join their mining team. 

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

• NQF Level 7 qualification (Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma) in a relevant field.

• At least 5 years of experience in a related role, including a minimum of 2 years at supervisory level or within a functional/specialist role.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in SOX compliance.

• Registered with SAICA.

• Medically fit to work in the designated business area.

• Clear security screening record.

• Valid driver’s license, where applicable.

• Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office and SAP GRC.

• Solid experience in documenting and assessing the design and effectiveness of SOX controls, including walkthroughs and control testing.

• Practical knowledge of implementing the COSO Internal Control Framework.

• Strong understanding and application of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), particularly Sections 302 and 404, in a business context.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio) for documentation, analysis, and reporting.

• Ability to identify and evaluate key SOX financial risks and controls.
