Our client a well-established business is seeking an experienced Export & Customs Specialist to join their team in the Highway Area. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years’ experience in customs paperwork and export management, with strong knowledge of South African and neighbouring countries’ legislation.

Responsibilities include handling multiple shipments at once, liaising with SARS, clearing agents, and customers, and resolving customs or border delays effectively. Proficiency in SARS e-filing, EDI platforms, and customs clearing software is essential, while Pastel experience will be an advantage. Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills are key to success in this role.

Must have a Matric (Grade 12). Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or International Trade. Additional certifications in Customs & Excise, International Trade & Export Management, or FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding (highly beneficial).
