Role overview:

As an Sales Executive , you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through exceptional customer experience, deep product knowledge, and a refined, consultative sales approach. This is a high-performance role, requiring a blend of creative flair, business acumen, and relationship management.

You will consistently exceed expectations, both in sales and in service delivery, building long-term customer loyalty and contributing meaningfully to the Weylandts brand vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience & Relationship Management

  • Deliver a world-class, personalised in-store and post-sale experience.
  • Anticipate customer needs and tailor solutions that reflect their lifestyle and our brand ethos.
  • Guide customers on product selection, care, space planning and styling.
  • Build lasting client relationships to maximise lifetime value.

Sales & Business Development

  • Consistently meet & exceed individual sales targets
  1. Cash Collected (Net of VAT), and
  2. Discount Target
  • Pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting.
  • Represent the Weylandts brand with professionalism and confidence.

Operational Excellence

  • Independently manage the full sales process from initial prospecting and first contact, through needs analysis, sales quote, negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Ensure excellence in all operational processes: sales orders, account management, stock management, SR management and studio referrals.
  • Mentor team members and share best practices.
  • Promote & champion the decorator / partner program.
  • Uphold showroom standards and ensure that all items are priced and displayed correctly
  • Stay compliant with all required training in line with company policy

What you bring:

  • Grade 12/ Matric
  • Relevant diploma/ degree in sales, business, or customer service is advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years of executive-level sales experience in a premium retail, interiors or customer-facing environment
  • Previous experience in retail or client-focused setting
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills
  • Technically inclined and comfortable learning and using multiple business systems and tools
  • Available to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Passionate about décor and Weylandts furniture and homeware products
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential
