Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our technical team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge within a fast-paced environment spanning manufacturing, mining, and project management.
You will support senior engineers in delivering innovative mechanical solutions, contributing to the design, analysis, and execution of projects while gaining valuable hands-on experience. You will combine technical expertise with strong problem-solving, organisational, and teamwork skills to drive projects to successful completion.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing, mining, or project management
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or CAD, with exposure to FEA and tender processes
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and ability to interpret technical drawings
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems
- Perform technical calculations and simulations
- Collaborate on projects and attend planning meetings
Support technical operations and adhere to safety protocols
