Procurement Officer in the Banking Sector (Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Banking Sector
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Officer to join our team in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency
– Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
– Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities
– Support internal stakeholders in identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers
– Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulations
– Manage the procurement process from request for proposal to contract execution
– Track and report key performance indicators related to procurement activities
– Assist in budgeting and forecasting for procurement activities
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or related field
– Proven experience as a procurement officer or similar role in the banking sector
– Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations and market trends
– Excellent negotiation and communication skills
– Proficient in MS Office and procurement software
– Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
– Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
