We’re looking for an experienced Collections Team Leader to drive performance, develop talent, and oversee a high-performing team of collections agents.

Collections Team Leader
LOCATION
Wynberg Cape Town
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and support a team of Collections Agents to meet performance targets
- Monitor call quality and ensure adherence to scripts, regulations, and policies
- Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing development to team members
- Analyse collection trends and implement strategies to improve recovery rates
- Handle escalated customer queries and complex accounts when necessary
- Generate and present performance reports to management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a collections role, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory position
- Strong background in financial services collections
- Proven ability to manage performance and build a motivated team
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Familiarity with collections systems, reporting tools, and compliance frameworks
