Production Machine Setter
Job Description
Our client is seeking a driven, skilled and motivated individual who sees manufacturing as a Career, not just a job. The ideal individual will have strong work ethic, technical aptitude and the ability to lead the setup and operation of our state-of-the-art Liquid and Cream Filling Line.
Our client is looking to employ a Machine Setter based in Elsies River.

Production Machine Setter

SALARY
R264 000 – R300 000
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up, test, and calibrate machinery per specifications
- Ensure optimal balance and quality output across the line
- Lead and train production staff when needed
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and machine inconsistencies
- Support layout or equipment changes and complete change documentation
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety
- Contribute to SOP reviews and GMP compliance
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics (Not Mathematical Literacy)
- Proficient in English Home Language or Additional Langue – Level 4 ( 50- 59%)
- Relevant Post Matric qualification (N6 Qualification in / Diploma / Btech Degree in Industrial /Mechanical Engineering is a must!
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Hands-on with CNC machines and automated production lines experience
- Familiarity with consumer product manufacturing
- Exposure to pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical & mechanical systems
- Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety standards
- Computer literacy (especially for CNC or automated systems)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
