iqx the Technology Division of iqbusiness is seeking for an experienced Senior Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team and play a critical role in delivering high-quality banking and financial products. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to validate functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring robust, secure, and compliant banking software solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, ideally in a financial or banking environment.

  • Strong understanding of banking domains such as payments, loans, credit, treasury, or regulatory reporting.

  • Hands-on experience in test case design, execution, defect tracking, and requirements validation.

  • Proficiency in using tools like JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, ALM/QC, or similar.

  • Solid knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Experience working with API testing using tools like Postman (manual validation).

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to develop detailed test cases and test scenarios.

  • Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing on banking applications (web/mobile/core banking systems).

  • Design and execute end-to-end manual test plans with a strong focus on user journeys and edge cases.

  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to reproduce and resolve defects.

  • Identify, document, and track defects using test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

  • Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile or hybrid SDLC.

  • Ensure test documentation meets audit and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Support production validation and post-deployment testing as needed.
