Plant Engineer

Hire Resolve’s Client, a reputable mining company in Limpopo, is currently looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to join their mining team. 

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

• Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) for Mines & Works

• National Diploma or Degree in an Engineering discipline

• Management Development Programme (MDP) or equivalent qualification will be an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

• Formal training in Planned Maintenance and Project Management will be beneficial

• Experience working on a process plant or platinum concentrator is highly advantageous

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an engineering role with responsibility for equipment maintenance in a position of authority

• Essential experience with equipment maintenance systems

• Proven management experience is required

• Sound knowledge of pump systems and piping for slurry and clear water

• Understanding of bulk material handling systems, including conveyor belts and related components

• Familiarity with classification equipment such as screens, dense media separation (DMS) drums, and cyclones

• Knowledge of comminution equipment including crushers and mills

• Experience in project management processes will be an advantage

• Strong understanding of core business management principles
