Accountant

Job description

Hands on accounting role. Full function including intercompany loan accounts, balance sheet recons, payroll admin, month end journals, statutory returns, intercompany billing, creditors, cashbook, foreign payments, VAT/PAYE/EMP501/Provisional tax, Management reports,  liaison with auditors, debtors

Requirements

• B.Comm accounting/financial accounting degree – preferable
• Qualified hands on accountant with a min of five years experience in a similar role, with good working knowledge of inter-company accounts essential
• Experience on SAGE accounting software essential – not negotiable
• Experience gained in all of the above functions
• Hands on accounting experience (not auditing/banking) – essential
• Computerised accounting software experience
• Hands on general accounting experience
• Own transport
• Valid licence
