Senior Technical Manual Tester

Our client is a global leader in customer communication and engagement technology, serving financial institutions, utilities, and healthcare organisations. Their SaaS platform helps clients deliver seamless customer experiences, meet regulatory requirements, and accelerate digital transformation.

They’re growing fast and looking for a Senior Technical Manual Tester to join their quality engineering team. If you’re meticulous, process-driven, and thrive on ensuring that software is bulletproof before it hits production, this is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping high-impact digital products used by millions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Define and execute detailed test plans and test cases for web and desktop applications
• Perform manual testing to identify, document, and manage defects
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile teams
• Contribute to the quality strategy, ensuring test coverage and traceability
• Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Help ensure delivery of high-quality, secure, and compliant software products

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 5 to 7 years’ experience as a QA engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or similar field
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies and the SDLC/STLC
• Strong knowledge of defect management processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray)
• Practical experience with web and desktop applications
• Familiarity with HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL
• Knowledge of Agile practices and strong collaboration skills
• Advantageous: experience with document processing/ECM systems

Location: Remote (South Africa-based)

Salary: R700,000 – R820,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)
