- Completion of Compilations and accounting work
- Compilation of Financial Statements
- Day to day processing of transactions, invoices etc, on Xero Accounting
- Plan jobs with reference to year ends and deadlines
- Requesting of information from clients
- Implementing financial controls on all assets, income streams and expenses
- Preparation of management accounts
- Processing and calculation of month end journals
- All processing of the books up to Trial Balance & Balance Sheet
- Full Xero functions, including:
- Management accounts
- Balancing of creditors,
- Bank accounts etc.
- Capturing salaries
- E-Filing submissions:
- VAT201
- EMP201
- EMP501
- IT
Duties:
Required Skills
- Accounting
- Financial
Candidate Requirements
- B.Com or B.Compt degree in Financial Accounting
- Completed SAIPA Articles at a reputable firm
- Must have passed the board exam
- Must be proficient in Xero, CaseWare, and E-Filing accounting software
- Must be fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
- Must have the ability to work well as part of a team
- Good time management
- Good problem solving and delegation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must have the ability to work under pressure
- Must have contactable references
