Job Description
RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading civil and structural engineering consulting firm in Gauteng is currently looking to hire a qualified Resident Engineer who can join their team in Pretoria as soon as possible.
Requirements:
- National Diploma or BTech degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity working for well-established consulting firms
- Candidate registration with ECSA
- Experience in civil engineering construction and site supervision
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and design specifications
- Proficient in site inspection, quality control, and safety standards
- Ability to manage and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Familiar with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
- Excellent report writing, problem-solving, and communication skills
