Senior Accountant – Fixed Term Contract
Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Record and maintain financial transactions in Sage 300 accounting software
– Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements
– Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accurate and timely reporting
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
– Prepare tax returns and liaise with external auditors as needed
– Provide support to other team members and departments as required
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– Professional certification such as CPA is a plus
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with specific experience using Sage 300 software
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
