Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our client and promote their range of power tools to customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, particularly in the power tools/Construction industry. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers to drive sales and increase brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a database of customers in a specific area

• Generate sales at existing customers and bring in new customers

• Be proactive in anticipating trends at the customer and in the marketplace

• Develop a knowledge of the product and become an expert in the field

• Ensure administration is up to date by completing weekly, monthly, quarterly reports

• Achieve sales budgets on a consistent basis

• Establish relationships internally with all departments that support sales

• Ensure customer service satisfaction and maintain excellent customer relationships

Qualifications:

• Matric

• Qualification in Marketing, Business, or related field (advantageous)

• 5 years Sales Representative experience

• Sales experience in Power Tools/Construction 

• Computer literacy essential, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships and bringing in sales
