My client a manufacturer and distributor are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor (Sales and Marketing) for their facility in Blackheath, Cape Town.

The ideal candidate will plan, implement, and supervise warehousing operations within the Sales and Marketing department, ensuring production targets, service agreements, and customer demand requirements are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee weekly cycle counts and monthly stocktakes
• Apply FIFO and LOS principles in all stock handling
• Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions
• Manage stock control procedures and improve efficiencies
• Ensure accurate storage, labelling, and handling of non-conforming stock
• Collaborate with Planning and Production for verification of goods
• Control damaged stock and manage consignment protocols

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

• Diploma in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field (NQF 5)
• Up to 5 years in warehousing, logistics, inventory or stock control in a manufacturing environment
• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP/ERP systems
• Solid knowledge of warehousing, logistics, and planning practices
