Engineer – Instrumentation and Control

Our client, a major player in Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas industry, is seeking a highly experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join their engineering team for a 2 – 4-year fixed-term contract. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to large-scale industrial projects in one of the world’s leading energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the design, installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems across various projects.
• Ensure reliable operation and safety of control systems in high-demand environments.
• Drive project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and optimize automated systems and process control strategies.
• Conduct technical reviews, troubleshooting, and provide hands-on support across all project phases.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in instrumentation and control engineering, preferably within the oil and gas or industrial sector.
• Proven project management experience overseeing large-scale instrumentation/control system installations and upgrades.
• Strong understanding of process control systems, automation platforms, and industry standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
