Technical Lead

What we’re looking for:

• Proficiency in our tech stack: Typescript, NextJS/React, AWS Lambda/Step Functions, Postgres/Dynamo, CDK, Playwright. Don’t worry if you aren’t expert in every technology listed – we want to find a person who will be a great fit for and add to our team.
• Confident explaining ideas, solutions and achievements to technical and non-technical audiences, team members and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
• Data-driven approach
• Experience as a Senior Fullstack Developer, tech lead or engineering manager, you are passionate about software development and engineering
• You embrace a growth mindset, always
• You are always looking to develop your technical knowledge and technical leadership skills

What you’ll be doing:

• Play a key role developing and deploying our apps and platform
• Act as a squad tech lead, guiding the direction of development and ensuring adherence to the highest coding, design, and quality standards
• Collaborate with the squad’s functional leads, e.g. product and design, and stakeholders to deliver the product roadmap, turning product requirements into scalable solutions that make a difference for our clients and users
• Collaborate in the development of our architecture and play a leading role in technology choices and innovation

Reference Number for this position is GZ60377 which is a permanent Hybrid position based in Johannesburg / Cape Town offering a cost to company salary of R1.4m per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
