C Programmer (CPT Onsite)
Job Description
ENVIRONMENT:
A solutions-oriented C Programmer with good engineering common sense, someone who takes initiative and is accountable for their function is sought by a leading Automotive Tech company to join its team. This position is for someone who wants to grow and take the lead on projects and has solid support and soft skills. You will need a suitable Software or Engineering tertiary qualification with 3+ years work experience using C. This person will be working and interfacing with a wide range of people within the organization across our South Africa, US and India offices.
DUTIES:
- Creatively solve design problems (creating feature requests and design documentation and implementation).
- Debug code-related issues.
- Update and optimize existing code bases.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-Haves –
- Software or Engineering tertiary qualification.
- 3+ Years C experience.
Nice-to-haves –
- Linux experience.
- Git/ GitHub experience.
- Interpreting datasheets.
- Electronic hardware experience.
ATTRIBUTES:
- Able to manage multiple projects / multitasking / time management.
- Can manage themselves to some degree / takes initiative.
- Problem solving.
