FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (Wholesale and Retail)

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant with strong interpersonal skills who thrives in a faced-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably within the retail sector and a deep understanding of financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, taxation, and inventory accounting. This role is critical to ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency within the business.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CA(SA), CIMA, or SAIPA (studying towards or completed) is an advantage

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years as a Financial Accountant ideally in a retail environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel, SAP, Xero)

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong communication skills
