Our client a national manufacturing concern is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to manage multiple departments for maximum productivity, focusing on engineering/design/development of product.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Engineering/Business Management/Operations/Design is required
• 8-10 years relevant experience in a senior management role focusing on engineering/design/automotive
• MS office literate
• Valid Drivers License with Own transport

Responsibilities:

• Maintain constant communication with the management team
• Oversee and manage the entire plant
• Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
• Lead, motivate and support the management team
• Manage day to day operations
• Implement quality assurance measures for products/services and monitor production KPI’s
• Enhance customer service quality and satisfaction
• Analyse data to identify process improvement opportunities and cost savings
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
• Implementing strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives
• Develop and implement business strategies
• Drive business growth and profitability
• Play an active role in overseeing business development and sales management
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice engineering vision, strategies, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
• Conceptualize new designs and design revisions
• Ability to produce and interpret designs, drawings, models
