CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM LEADER (Chemical Manufacturing)

Our client seeks to appoint a Customer Service Team Leader to support customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to complaints as well as receive and process local and export orders. This is a front-line support position to ensure that customers are satisfied with products, and service.
Responsibilities include:
- Resolve customer complaints via phone and email
- Decision making & negotiating
- Receiving and processing of local and export orders
- Planning and organizing
- Liaising with transporters and following up on deliveries
- Prepare documents for products to be supplied to customers, including invoicing and credit notes for returns
- Update pricelists for customers and on the ERP system
- Arranging for samples and dispatch for allocated customers
Must have Matric/Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary business qualification, high level of proficiency in MS Office and SAP, solid understanding of export order requirements and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in the chemical industry would be an advantage.
