External Sales Rep

RPO’s client is actively seeking a skilled External Sales Representative to join our client in Midrand, Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to drive business growth by developing customer relationships, exceeding sales targets, and delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities:

• Exceed sales targets and margins through proactive client engagement.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct regular sales calls and visits to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Provide expert advice on available products, services, and solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Assist all customers with service excellence, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Stay up to date with company, industry, and product changes to offer informed recommendations.
• Handle all general sales administrative duties, including responding to inquiries via phone and email.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Sales qualification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of the electrical industry and market trends.
• Good computer proficiency, including CRM and sales tracking tools.
• Basic accounting and financial skills for pricing and cost analysis.
• Experience in stock profiling and area development strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for exceeding sales targets.
