Chief Operations Officer
Job Description
You will be the CEO’s strategic partner, driving operational excellence and business growth in the Bespoke Textile and Soft Furnishings Industry.
Essential Requirements:
- Possess an Honours degree or MBA in Business Management
- Must have a minimum of 10–15 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing
- A proven track record in executive roles.
- A strong understanding of African and international markets is desirable.
- Demonstrate expertise in scaling operations, optimising processes, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- This role requires exceptional leadership skills, business acumen, and the ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and advanced computer skills are essential.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- The ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
- Track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
You will translate strategy into actionable plans, enhance productivity, and ensure compliance with national and international business regulations. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, supporting and guiding senior executives, and ensuring the company meets its strategic goals. You will act as a stand-in for the CEO when required, playing a critical role in shaping the company’s future.
