Job Description


We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Facilitators, Assessors, and Moderators to join our Training and Development team in the Eastern Cape. If you have a passion for agriculture, education, and empowering learners, we want to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate engaging and effective training programs in Mixed Farming Systems and other agricultural practices.
  • Assess and moderate learner progress, ensuring adherence to the unit standard.
  • Provide valuable feedback and guidance to learners to enhance their learning experience.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of a National Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Plant Production, or a related field (NQF Level 2 or higher).
  • At least 2-3 years of practical experience in mixed farming systems (both crop and livestock production).
  • Proven experience in facilitating, assessing and/or moderating in an educational or agricultural setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of NQF-level qualifications and assessment processes in agricultural education is an advantage.
  • Certification: Registered as an Assessor and/or Moderator with AgriSETA

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of Mixed Farming Systems, including crop management, livestock management, and integrated farming practices.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with learners and colleagues.
  • Ability to assess, evaluate, and provide feedback to learners effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software for administration and record-keeping.
