Audit Compliance, Technical & Training Manager (CA SA) – Bryanston
Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in audit technical understanding, and employee development who is looking to play a key role in enhancing the performance of the team.
Minimum Requirements
• Must be a registered member of SAICA as a CA(SA), RA is advantageous
• 5 Years post articles experience in audit with a minimum of 2 years in a management role
• Must have worked in a compliance/technical division in an audit firm
• Must have excellent computer skills including outlook, excel, and word and CaseWare.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and IFRS
• ISQM1 monitoring and remediation process knowledge
• Performed engagement quality reviews (EQR’s)
• Develop and enhance audit working papers to meet the required changes in ISA’s and IFRS
• Need to draft opinions regarding auditing & accounting
• Be able to present, train and facilitate training
• A strong knowledge of the ISA’s
• Detail oriented and organised
• Must take initiative and be self-driven
• Be able to take accountability and meet deadlines
• Ability to plan and work under pressure
• Must be well-presented and well-spoken
• Driver’s license and car
• Must be available to start ASAP
The incumbent’s responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
• Perform ISQM1 monitoring and remediation process
• Performed engagement quality reviews (EQR’s)
• Develop and enhance audit working papers to meet the required changes in ISA’s and IFRS
• Drafting of opinions regarding auditing & accounting
• Present and facilitate training.
