Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

A large, well established, national manufacturer is looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their team and be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all plant machines and electrical equipment.

Requirements:

• Trade Tested Electrician
• Minimum NTC 3 Certificate with Electrical as a Core Subject
• Minimum 5yrs experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with both AC and DC motors and drives
• Siemens TIA experience and expertise
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all plant machines and electrical equipment
• Fabricate new equipment or to make modifications to existing equipment
• Attend to all electrical repairs and breakdowns as they arise and advise the Manager
• Focus on electrical panel upgrade and project management of new installations for the facility
• Conduct on the spot repairs to the plant and its equipment
• Ensure housekeeping is always maintained
• PLC troubleshoots
