IT Engineer
Job Description
You will deliver technical support across various IT systems, ensuring seamless hardware, software, and network infrastructure operation while minimising downtime.
This role involves maintaining endpoint security, managing backups and disaster recovery, and supporting critical business applications such as Sage Payroll and warehouse scanning systems. You will also play a key role in user onboarding, device setup, and cyber security training, ensuring staff compliance with security protocols.
Essential Requirements:
- Hold a relevant IT qualification (NQF 5 or NQF 6)
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA or Microsoft.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role is preferred
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, endpoint protection, desktop and server support, and IT compliance.
- Experience in Office 365 and cyber security awareness programs is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills and a proactive and customer-focused mindset are essential.
The role demands agility in managing multiple priorities, ensuring high system availability, and driving continuous improvement in IT service delivery.
