Instrument Mechanician – Mining

Description:
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Mechanician to join their team at their mining operation in the Limpopo region. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in the mining industry.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate measurement of variables
• Maintain and upgrade plant instrumentation
• Install, commission, and maintain field instruments
• Conduct analytical tests on key installations
• Keep calibration records updated
• Comply with Health and Safety Standards

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• N6 Certificate in Instrumentation
• 3 years’ experience as Instrument Mechanician in PGM Plants.
• Knowledge in ControlNet, DeviceNet, and Industrial EtherNet setup and configuration.
• Knowledge in Rockwell RSLOGIX 5000 PLC, Micrologix 500 and FTView SCADA (Advantageous)
• Valid Driver’s License
